About the topic

As a huge bookworm I naturally wanted to design a font for books. Voajér regular is intended for fiction literature. I’ve always considered this genre as some kind of voyeurism, that allows us to see fascinating inner world of other people.

About the design

I wanted it to have human touch so I tried to avoid repeating modules and I used very unbalanced contrast that makes letters sort of dance on a page. Because of the atypical serifs I also needed to design a lot of ligatures.
